Rapper Boosie Badazz has been hit with an assault and battery lawsuit for his involvement in a shopping mall altercation last year. The hip-hop star, formerly known as Lil Boosie, was pepper sprayed by a security guard working for Dillardâs department store inside Edgewater Mall in Biloxi, Mississippi in April, 2017, after he and his friends allegedly became difficult while being escorted out of the mall. The security guard, named Glen Kerley, has now filed a lawsuit against the rapper, real name Torrence Hatch, claiming he was assaulted during the dispute. In court documents, Kerley claims Boosie and his friends tried to enter Dillard’s while they were being kicked out of the shopping center, so he tried to escort them to the exit but they refused and became combative, and he was forced to use the pepper spray to diffuse the situation. However, shortly after, the group allegedly began to repeatedly punch him, and Kerley claims he did not try to fight back.Once Kerley had got Boosie, 35, outside and tried to arrest him, the rapper allegedly attacked him, knocked him to the ground, kicked him several times and dragged across the concrete. The guard, who says he was taken to the hospital after the incident, is suing the rapper for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, civil conspiracy and negligence, and is seeking unspecified damages. Boosie has filed his own lawsuit against Dillardâs department store, the Edgewater Mall and the Biloxi Police Department over the incident, claiming racial slurs were thrown at him and he was pepper sprayed by a law enforcement officer. In their response, representatives for the city of Biloxi revealed that he had been charged in May for simple assault and disorderly conduct; interference with a business over the incident, and was subsequently arrested in December. He is due to appear in Biloxi Municipal court on April 18. via ALLHIPHOPÂ

XXXTentacion is suing the woman he appears to have smacked in the head in a video, claiming she’s lying about what really happened, and hitting him up for a stack of cash. XXX says his manager reached out to the woman right after she posted the video last month. As TMZ first reported … he says her grandparents called back and asked what the rapper would be willing to do to “make everything good.” According to the suit, the grandparents alleged XXX had also thrown a BB gun at the woman’s face prior to the hit seen on video. He claims they asked for $300k in exchange for the woman’s silence. In docs, the 20-year-old hip-hop star says she was threatening to hold a news conference to blast him as a frequent abuser of women. via TMZ
