Grand Jury Indicts 4 Men Accused Of XXXTENTACION’s Murder

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – Four men were indicted by a grand jury in the shooting death of XXXTENTACION on Wednesday (July 18). According to a Broward County Sheriff’s Office press release, Dedrick D. Williams, Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome and Robert Allen are all named as suspects. While Williams and Boatwright are in custody, Newsome and Allen remain at large. X was killed in broad daylight on June 18 at RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida.Williams was arrested on June 20, while Boatwright was arrested on July 5 on unrelated drug charges. On July 10, detectives served Boatwright with an arrest warrant for first-degree murder while at the BSO Main Jail.Fans were able to say goodbye to the “Look At Me!” rapper during a public, open-casket memorial last month. Man Shot & Killed Leaving Drake’s Toronto Restauraunt

An event at a Toronto restaurant co-owned by Drake turned deadly on Sunday (May 20), when 28-year-old Jaiden Jackson was shot and killed after leaving a private party. According to a report from Toronto police, Jackson was leaving a party at Pick 6ix at around 9 p.m. on Sunday night when two armed men jumped out of a black Honda Civic and began shooting at him. Police say Jackson ran down an underground parking ramp, where the two men and the driver of the car chased after him. The two men, along with the driver, continued to shoot at Jackson before getting back in their car and fleeing the scene. The 28-year-old was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Drake has yet to issue a statement about the incident. – XXL 

Judge Denies Ralo’s Bond, Believes He’s Selling Drugs from Jail

There will be no bond set for Atlanta rapper Ralo, a federal judge ruled Tuesday. The rapper, whose real name is Terrell Davis, appeared in federal court Tuesday afternoon hoping he would be getting out of jail. Women’s Group Asks Spotify to Remove Eminem & Other Artists

(SOURCE: XXL) Women’s rights organization Ultraviolet penned a letter (May 15) to Spotify applauding their removal of R. Kelly and XXXTentacion from curated playlists as part of their new hateful conduct policy. The group also requests that the streaming service take things a step further and remove numerous artists including Chris Brown, Eminem, Nelly and 6ix9ine, among others, who have allegedly been connected to abusing women in the past.

“Thank you for taking the important first step of removing infamous abusers R. Kelly and XXXTentacion from your official playlists,” the statement begins. “Your action demonstrates that Spotify is following the lead of Black women who demanded that these two men, who have sexually and physically abused women for years, not be promoted and celebrated.” via XXL
