Where you from?
RIVERSIDE, CA but I Was Raised out in longbeach then moved out here about 12 years ago. The thing is i never really felt like I belonged in neither city cause my race is FULL MEXICAN And i had to learn a whole new culture whole new language as i kept on getting older. BUT GUERREO MEXICO, will forever be my hood S/O to all the fam out there.
How did you get your start in music?
I always loved music, and it took me a while to figure out that it was like sorta my destiny and talent.
How long have you been making it?
I been making music since like 2015, and i actually don’t plan on chasing any other career that doesn’t involve making music.So if i die im gonna die with beats on Deck! LOL

What motivates you?
Mary jane has to be one, other than that the money of course

How did you get your start in music?
When i was younger i would freestyle here there but it wasn’t until i was 15. My one friend at had play this one DMX record ‘Let me fly’ & it was from there that I knew rap was meant for me.
How long have you been making it?
I’ve been making music for 5 years now, I started back in 2013.
Who are your influences?
My main influences are my peers one of them being my mentor he goes by ‘The Cause’. But everyone of my peers who are reading this know they help influence my craft as a whole. My artistic inspirations vary honestly the fact i listen to a wide range of music its hard to pin point but the ones who i can reach for inspiration would have to be Tupac, Nas, DMX, Chino XL, Big Pun, Erykah Badu, Cee lo Green, Marvin Gaye, Common, Kanye West, The Fugees man the list can go on.
What motivates you?
The future , love and my soul purpose.
What are you currently working on?
Getting things ready for my upcoming project titled ‘Symphony of a MadMan VOL.1’. Its my debut full length solo project that is not an album or a mixtape but a collective of art therefore I’m calling it a collective

What is your opinion on the current hiphop scene?
Its very different theres a mixture of clutter & rare music. There will always be good music you just have to dig good enough. I do wish tho artist really worked on being more original but other than that everything else is exactly where it needs to be, from production to vocals to visuals everything is real real dope.

Don’t fear rejection or any kind of misfortune. Everything happens for a reason learn how to bounce back from your loss, take lesson from it and conquer.

Im from Houston, Texas. Northwest Side of town. Im a Nigerian-American.
How did you get your start in music?

It’s going to be a year in July. I’ve been writing music since 2013 I just never put it all together the way I am now.
Who are your influences?
2010 was a golden age of new hip-hop artists. My biggest influence is J.Cole but I am aware that if it wasn’t for Kanye there wouldn’t be half of the artists out right now. To name a few though Drake, Wale, Meek Mill, & Big Sean.
What motivates you?
My Dad motivates me. He came to this country from Nigeria with nothing but a dream. He made it successfully and always grinds hard to provide for his family. I want to be able to pay him back everything and more that he has given me.
What are you currently working on?
I’m working on a project called Rich in Spirit. That’s what my name means in the Igbo language. I have 3 songs out everywhere that are on “Rich In $pirit” I’m 6 songs deep.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself as a happy man, financially free and selling out shows across the world. Owning properties and solidifying myself as an artist.
What is your opinion on the current hiphop scene?
The hip-hop scene is CRAZY. There is so much talent everywhere. To the point that no ones who is next star. People say its dead but honestly people aren’t looking hard anymore. HIPHOP has a wide spectrum of artists. From auto-tune melodies to lyrical witty bars and story tellers and trap bangers. Whatever your looking for is there. We have become a lazy society that waits for a co-sign to get behind an artist. Hip-Hop is #1 because of the diversity of styles.

How did you get your start in music?
I had to write a poem for class in 6th grade and the teachers thought it was really good for a kid my age.
They entered it in a bunch of poetry contests and stuff. After that i started making rhymes to beats. After hurricane Katrina i moved to Fort Worth and met a nigga who chopped and screwed songs and sold em.. he put to Sony acid program on my computer and i started recording songs. So it started from there.

I’ve always been around music and played around with lyrics in my notebook. Since I was younger, Ive felt like i could connect with a song on another level. .This summer it will be 2 years of me officially putting out music.

The current HipHop scene is interesting. I don’t knock anybody for they’re hustle, but I feel like people can clearly see who works for their shine and who was just there at the right time. As for the new music that is out now, I classify it as a different era of music, and has its differences from the 2000s music that everyone is so used to. I like it though.

Explain who you are for those who may not know
For those who may not know who i be, i be That Foo Speech. Or just that FOO no L’s though because I don’t take those. If you do know me though speech is just fine. Speech is actually my last name but i go by that foo because of the artists from arrested development. Also because I’m that one friend that’s always getting iinto something crazy. So FOO is actually an acronym for Friend Of Ours because I’m everybody’s friend if they open up to me.
Where you from?
I’m from all over California. Bay to LA. I was born up north in Morgan hills Ca then bounced back and forth from the greater city of Los Angeles to the San FernAndo valley where i currently reside in a small little city called Burbank right on the outskirts of Hollywood. In fact Burbank’s like the backbone of Hollywood given that it’s where a lot of the major studios and record labels are.
How did you get your start in music?
I didnt get started really until i was probably a junior in high school and even then it was just beatboxing and freestyle cyphers with the close friends but it truest all began in elementary school when my mom put me and my older sister in glee club. I guess she thought I was going to be the next Marvin Gaye or. Luther.
How long have you been making it?
I’ve been making music for about 6 years now. If i factor in the hiatuses I’ve taken and downtime due to crashes hard drives and fried video cards. I’d say about 2-3 years officially.
Who are your influences?
I’m influenced by every big and everybody. I don’t have any specific influences as i learn what i can from every artists i listen to whether it be another rapper and r&b singer whoever and whatever kind of artists they are if they’re creating they’re influencing and i try to take in all that I can
What motivates you?
My team. The few strangers I work with on a regular basis are the reason why i refuse to give up and I keep striving. Without them I’d have given up and accepted normalcy by now. But they not letting that happen. Plus i want to create something i can pass down a few generations.
What are you currently working on?
I don’t want to say too muc but I’ve got some things in the works with a couple producers from out in Germany. Big love to skew and yanosh. I’m also working on a little collab project with my producer GIRI so keep your eyes and ears open for all that but I’m with formula 8 out I’m taking a step back from the music making to just work on getting my life stable so i can progress not just as an artist but as a person in today society.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years i see myself looking back at 2018 as the year everything changed. Plain and simple. If you want to know where i plan on being listen to my music it’s all there and unfolding accordingly.
What is your opinion on the current hiphop scene?
In my opinion The CURRENT scene is about being seen. Not really having anything to say just being fun to watch. But I’ve been watching things shift over the past few years. But There’s a lot of artists that aren’t seen much that have a lot to say and they’re starting to get heard.
