Explain who you are for those who may not know

It’s M.A.J.O.R. D-Star, the next recording artist breaking into the mainstream from Detroit. Here to bring Motown back one step at a time.

How did you get into music?

I’ve been into music since a youngin. With inspirations from nothing but the greats, the first time I tried to rap verbally, I just felt a spark. It gave me a feeling nothing else ever did before. From there, I wrote my first raps and by the time I got into the recording, I knew it was for me. I felt like I had the sound and people were telling me that I had the swag and that I was going to be a star all my life. But most of all, I loved to share my life story. I’ve always dreamed big and I knew that if I was going to do it for the long run and shoot for the top like a shooting star, I had to do it right. I had to be different, creative and just be myself, and that was MAJOR.

Who are your influences?

My biggest influences musically are Biggie & Jay-Z.

What motivates you to get up and grind?

Every time I hear this question I think I’m going to have to answer it the same! Everything really! My family, my fans/supporters, haters/doubters but overall, my passion for music. Without music I’m nothing.

What are you working on?

Currently I’m working on my next mixtape project for my city entitled, “Motown Sound” dropping sooner than you think! First quarter, 2017.

Whats next for you?

Nothing but the top.

We recently posted an article that we found online about Gepetto being Jermaine Jackson’s secret son.

We simply thought the post was interesting and decided to post on our website.

Instantly after posting we started getting some hate messages about the article we posted. People were telling us to do better research and called Gepetto a scam artist.

We reached out to Gepetto and talked with him on the truth about who he is and where his journey is taking him.

He explained to us that this is deeper than who his father is.

He mentions that there are certain groups of people who are hiring private detectives to blame him for anything and everything to put him in jail.

My name is Andre Vann aka Gepetto Jackson. I’m a Rnb and soul artist who Is dedicated to his craft! Many of the people know me from the rumor of being the rumored son of Jermaine Jackson but people should know me for myself and all of my achievements

Anything you would like to say to clear my name?

I think people ignore the truth and pay more attention to negativity. There’s plenty of Proof on my YouTube Channel. This isn’t about who my Dad is anymore this is bigger then life! This is people working from fake pages slandering me to the world to manipulate viewers. This is Relatives getting on camera claiming me signing notarized papers then disowning me. This is people paying detectives to do anything to get me jail time. The life of Gepetto Jackson the Prince of Rnb and Soul.

Is there anything you would like to say to those you may have hurt?

I said it once again and I’ll say it again if you feel our business didn’t go as planned come to me and inbox me not the tabloids or court system to try to extort me. Is it about the fame or pushing forward for the change in man. This is entertainment nothing goes as planned but I’m willing to stand up like a man and work my way in the righteous manner

What do you have planned for 2017?

2017 is the Year I wear my crown properly as the Prince that I’m Crowned as. Music videos and more Positive interviews. More collabs with A list Celebs and becoming a better man
