Houston’s Big Boss Slim Thug Announces New Album, Drops Contemplative Single

Houston Hip-Hop legend Slim Thug, aka Boss Hogg, announces the continuation of his Hogg Life series with Hogg Life 4: American King, hitting stores August 4th via EMPIRE. Featuring two appearances from Boosie Badazz, as well as contributions from X.O., and Nikki Lactson, Hogg Life 4: American King is another quality addition to Thug’s inimitable discography. Today, Slim Thug treats fans to lead single “Peaceful,” a melodic, guitar-led rumination on his rarified position in the hood–after a lifetime of hustling, the Boss can afford to escape the world and enjoy the fruits of his labor. Shaggy Is Back With New Single ‘I Got You’

International mega-star, Shaggy, has returned to heat up the summer with the new single, “I Got You,” which features a sample from a long-time Shaggy fan, the late, James Brown.

Recently, Shaggy spoke about, “I Got You,” with Billboard magazine’s, Gail Mitchell, and shared, “This is a disruptive record that doesn’t sound like anything else that’s out there, which is in keeping with what I’ve done over the years.”
