Prado Bans ft Young Thug – Kosher

Thugger is no stranger to collaborating with any new comer and prides himself on having his ear to the streets for the next big thing.

It wasn’t long after he heard what Prado Bans had recorded to “Kosher” before he decided to make his mark on the track himself.

Prado Bans is currently sweeping the underground scene with his current catalog of songs and now that he has a cosign from Young Thug on “Kosher” it won’t be long before we see him on the main stage.

Prado Bans is an up and coming rap artist hailing from Atlanta by way of Chiraq and can be described as having a very Hyphy/Trillwave sound. He is set to release his sophomore EP late Q1 2017.

Explain who you are for those who may not know

I am Lyric that’s kinda self explanatory lol, I am an upcoming female artist born and raised from Norh Philadelphia Pennsylvania. I just celebrated my 21 birthday this past December. As if looks couldn’t tell I am also apart of the LGBT community and don’t think that my sexuality preference should dictates how people listen or view my music.

How did you get into music?

I started writing poems at a very young age after my grandmother passed away from breast cancer back in 2012 I later started writing 16 bars and taking a bigger liking to hiphop music. The summer Right before I started high school I was in the library with my aunt and came across this flyer promoting a after school program called Blackboard labs they was looking for young teens to sign up and take hiphop classes. Blackboard labs is an non-profit organization that helps students learn the insides and outs about hiphop. I meet Jim and 7 years later he coached me and Mentor my career. Without Blackboard labs their wouldn’t of been the lyric I am today not even half of Lyric.

Do you have any influences?

There are so many great artists in the industry today but the ones that I can’t go a day without listening to one of their songs. My top 5 behind The storytelling and double messages is J.cole , Drake before thug life lol , Angel Haze , Kur and jhene aiko. I idolize these individual artists.

Where do you see your self in 5 years?

Next 5 years I see myself On a bet stage in front of millions. Right now I’m thinking about taking up online classes for Berkley for music business. To have a back up plan if being a artist doesn’t work. Get my business degree and build my own independent label right in North Philadelphia for youth delinquents and youth that been in and out of Foster care, kids who parents is drug and alcohol addicts. I want to give them an outlet and a voice to tell their story.

What are you working on?

Right now I’m working on the visuals for London directed by Amir Rogers. Also releasing another single off my project MOMENTSLIKETHESE called “Almost These” featuring ToneTheVoice and Raw D. After that you will have to just wait to see don’t want to give away to much. I’m also focusing on building stronger relationships in the industry with other artists and expanding my audience to listen to my music. Touch more lives and continue to grow as an artist.

Anything else you would like to say?

To all my fans and family I just want to thank them for their support and to just be on the lookout for more to come from Lyric. WE GOING ALL THE WAY UP!
