Tonight we bring you a new artist that goes by the name of Dre-Yae. He is a true talented hustler. 

Dre-Yae is a Detroit, Michigan, hip hop artist and proud father. He began his music mission after two successful tours in the Iraqi freedom war on terror, where he received medals and honors. His love for music was instilled in him through his grandfather, the late George Dixon lead singer for the 1970s Motown music sensation the Spinners. Dre-Yae is also the nephew of Henry Dixon from the Originals.

Dre-Yae proves that he can craft a gripping record which has all of the luster of his earlier endeavors, and then some, and that he can be far better than many of his Hip Hop peers when he puts his head to the wheel.

This is one artist you don’t want to sleep on. We expect him to break a lot of barriers in the future.

Southside of Chicago West Englewood area

Whats it like growing up where your from?

Had some fun times but a lot of heart ache from losing good people to this street shit. Lost a lot of good niggas lot of good times and lot of bad times but it’s home

How did you get into music?

Watching a friend of mine That was a rapper King the Hood Savior whose life was taken in the peak of his career also a Englewood native

What makes you different than other artists

Im consistent and dedicated to any thing I put my mind to determine to win

What are you currently working on

Explain who you are for those who don’t know

Curt Legacy is an upcoming artist coming out of Austin, Texas, who is not riding the “trap wave” of success. With an original sound and laid back approach, Curt embodies the rebirth of accountable hip hop.

How did you come up with your name?

The name Curt Legacy came after a serious of misunfortunate events that lead me to a very dark time in my life. After persevering through those troubled times, I told myself I needed to make sure I leave something here after I’m gone, something that will reassure the world forever that I was once here.

Where are you from?

Austin, Texas

Whats it like growing up where your from?

Growing up in the Pflugerville area presented us with a false since of safety and excessive amount of vices, which sometimes landed us in unfortunate circumstances.

How did you get into music?

I’ve always been into music and writing. I was always good at making songs and being a wordsmith when it came to lyrical content.

What makes you different than other artists?

We began a hip hop culture in Pflugerville and surrounding areas by dropping mixtapez and DJing parties.

What are you currently working on?

My ora as a human being is at a different vibration then most artist. To get a better understanding of what I mean you would have to listen to the “Super 8” project, which is out now on iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, Tidal, and all other major music outlets.

Anything you would like to say?

At the moment , I am currently working on marketing merchandise to expand my brand and a new project is always and ready for release.
