Yella Beezy Had 5 Guns in His Car When Police Arrested Him, Affidavit Says

An arrest warrant affidavit revealed that Yella Beezy had five guns in his vehicle when Dallas police arrested him earlier this month.

Police claimed undercover cops were surveilling an area known for its high-crime when they spotted the 29-year-old commit multiple traffic violations. When police pulled Yella Beezy over and asked him to roll down his window, which they believed were too tinted, he told them he couldn’t because the windows were bulletproof.

The officers checked his identification and confirmed the rapper as a documented gang member. After one officer spotted a gun on the floorboard, he requested a drug-sniffing dog. Once the dog gave a positive alert, police found five guns in various areas of the vehicle.

The guns reportedly founded included:

– A Beretta PMX containing 19 rounds of ammunition. The gun had been reported stolen in Frisco.
– An FN Herstal Five-Seven that had 21 rounds of ammunition.
– A Sig Sauer P365 with 11 rounds of ammunition.
– A Smith & Wesson M&P Bodyguard that had six rounds of ammunition.
– A Springfield Armory Saint AR-15 pistol with a 54-round drum of ammunition. The gun had a wrist-brace that made it possible to fire the weapon with one hand.

After admitting to owning the weapons, Yella Beezy was taken to police headquarters and arrested. He was released shortly after being booked into the Dallas County Jail.

In 2018, the rapper was shot at more than a dozen times while driving on the highway. He was hospitalized for more than a week after sustaining three bullet wounds during the shooting.

Da Baby Accused of Assault

DaBaby has been accused of assaulting a rental home owner in Runyon Canyon, Calif.

According to a report published in Variety on Tuesday (Feb. 23), a man named Gary Pagar filed a lawsuit against the North Carolina rapper on Monday (Feb. 22), claiming that DaBaby punched him in the mouth, knocking a tooth out, back in December. The man says this all took place because he attempted to stop DaBaby’s music video shoot at his rental property because there were too many people, violating the terms of the lease.

Pagar claims that Baby had 40 people at the home when the hip-hop superstar allegedly agreed to the conditions of only having 12 people at the property due to COVID-19 regulations.

When Pagar attempted to shut down the video shoot, he was reportedly knocked to the ground by an unknown person. He then claims that DaBaby got out of a car, chased Pagar back into the home and advised him against calling the police. Pagar claims that this is when he was assaulted, left with a bloodied mouth and missing tooth.

The report goes on to say that someone at the scene did notify the police and DaBaby and his crew allegedly fled thereafter, allegedly taking Pagar’s phone and “valuable kitchenware.”

Pagar’s lawsuit reportedly claims that Baby left without paying the full amount of the bill. He also reportedly left the home with thousands of dollars in damages. Additionally, the lawsuit alleges that DaBaby and members of his crew destroyed a security camera that was installed inside of the home to hide that they weren’t adhering to coronavirus restrictions.

Bowing Terms Every Beginner Cellist Must Know

Most beginner cellists tend to focus on the basics of playing the instrument. But as you go with your advanced lessons, some complicated terms might get you confused. That’s why it is important to know the basic and advanced bowing terms. Here’s a list of words, starting from the general ones up to specific bowing terms that will help you in learning and understanding more about  playing the cello:

  • Crescendo and decrescendo. These terms are used when identifying the softness and loudness of a sound, crescendo for higher sound, and decrescendo for the lower sound.
  • Legato and staccato. Legato refers to the tones that are connected or joined while staccato is the detached form of musical notation.
  • Allegro and adagio. Allegro and adagio refer to the tempo of music. Allegro is the fast and quick tempo ranging from 120 to 156 beats per minute while adagio is the slow tempo marking that counts from 66-76 bpm.
  • Martelé. Also known as the hammered stroke, this bowing technique requires you to end each successive note abruptly.

In learning bowing techniques, aside from getting familiar with musical notes, you also need to know basic symbols, especially when music teachers verbally instruct you which part of the song and how he wants you to bow.

Up bowing (⋁). When your teacher or conductor tells you to do some up bowing, that means you have to do some strokes that start from the tip of the cello bow going to its frog.

Down bowing (∏). The counterpart of up bowing, this indicates that you must draw the bow in a downward direction which starts from the frog to the tip.

Legato (). As mentioned, legato is a bowing technique that requires smooth and connected strokes. You may indicate the word legato on your notes or you can create a large parenthesis-like marking over or under the note.

Staccato. ( • ). When indicating a staccato, you can place a dot above or under a specific note. This is the opposite of legato which requires short, accented bowing.

Pizzicato (pizz.). This is not really a bowing technique since players are required to pluck the strings instead of bowing but a section indicated with pizz is commonly followed by another bowing technique called the arco.

Arco (arco). This simply indicates that you must pause from playing the pizzicato and go back to bowing the strings.

There may be a lot of confusing words and bowing terms that you’ll meet as you start playing the cello. But as you go from basic to advanced techniques, these terms when applied will be much easier to understand and remember. When learning the cello, you have to identify their differences as there are a lot of terms that you’ll learn in the long run. However, these terms are just guides to properly play the cello. When you improve your skills, you can always find your own style and mix and match these techniques to create your own masterpiece.
