Dizzy is a dope artist from NY who is working hard to perfect his craft. We got a chance to sit down with Dizzy for an exclusive Q&A interview.

Explain who you are for those who may not know?

I go by DizzyGotBands or DizzyBaby for short. I’m an artist from Rockland, New York about 30 minutes from the Bronx.

How did you get into music?

I actually got into music on accident. My good friend J Craze heard me freestyle once at football practice and was like let’s make a track…So we did and people liked it, We had Kaiyah Napri do the video and that kind of jump started my career.

Who are your influences?

We came up bumping R&b in my house so I have that Marvin Gaye side of me. But as of right now I’d say my main influences are everyone from Ty Dolla $ign to J Cole to Lil Yachty. I’m a fan of good music.

What motivates you?

My mother and my brothers. – I just wanna make sure the people I care about are good for life.

What are you working on?

Well I just finished my debut mixtape [dropping early spring]. So I’m getting ready to shoot some music videos off of that and I have some pretty big shows booked so you could definitely say I’m in work mode. I’ve got some big things planed for this year. A few different labels have reached out and I’m planning a college tour with my man Jaz $tyles.
