Jarrod Michael Cooke is an artist from Tampa that recently had a very bad business expierience with Chief Keef’s ex-artist Rocaine. 

We reported earlier this week how Rocaine had sold Jarrod a verse that he had previously used on another song.

Jarrod recently dropped a crazy diss track but Rocaine has not responded to the accusations.

Explain who you are for those who may not know

I am the nerdiest, “street” nigga you’ll ever meet. I’m from East Cleveland, OH, and I grew up surrounded by gangs and violence but I’d be in the house watching Dragonball Z and Star Wars.

How did you get your start in music

Being rebellious against my parents, honestly. When I told them I was gonna pursue it as a career, they weren’t very supportive. But I started listening to rap music as a kid because they told me not to so it’s the same thing.

Who are some of your influences?

Lil Wayne, Pharrell, Curren$y, Fabolous and Cam’Ron

What motivates you to keep going?

Creating music just feels right. At this point, I know reaching my goals is possible and in my reach, so I gotta keep going. And obviously the benefits are appealing too.

What are your goals?

To make money and expand my fanbase. I want to be a national and international artist, a known influencer.

Do you have anything your currently working on?

Creating visuals for Paper Scorpion 2 and Polo 2 to release in 2017. I’m working with new producers, I might put out a surprise collab tape before the end of the year.
