New Music: @DamnDatKidFazle – Mannequin (Official Music Video)

You’re probably tired of the dozens of artist with a typical rap video of his homies with guns pointing at the camera.

I’m almost positive you’ve had your inbox flooded with the usual trap or boom-bap style of rap.

My question for you is would you like to see something different?

If you enjoy artist such as ScHool Boy Q, Travis $cott, Pusha T or Tyler The Creator

Something tells me you’ll really like this visual.

Today we bring you a new artist from Louisville that goes by the name of Lil Gibby.

gibby

“For those that are new to my sound, I am Lil Gibby. Local Rapper straight outta the 502. That’s Louisville if you didn’t catch that. I’m 20 years old, and I got in to music when I was a freshman in high school. I was introduced to rapping by my cousin. He’s also a rapper. He is one of my many influences.

But once I started learning how to rap and form “Bars” so to say, I started to look down on the way he rapped because the message wasn’t meaningful.

That’s when I decided I would be a hip-hop artist with a sound, voice and message. My main influence describe my sound perfectly they include: Wiz khalifa, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne.

Those three people help me accept that it’s okay to have a different sound that people won’t like. That means that your not the same. With that being said, I hardly work with other artist. Only because alot of them don’t have the same mindset as I do.

I have two SPa out right now and I am currently working on my next EP “Project Black” it’s a project from me discussing all the social injustice that’s happening in this country. It will also be a very Pro-black EP which we need at the Times we’re in.

I would like to say to new fans tuning in and my already amazing supporters that we will be heard. Gibby sees and hears everything that happens and I always talk about it for the people not confident enough too.

My goal is to make hip-hop the message of the black community seeing as it’s the only time people genuinely listen to black people. That is all”.
