Today we bring you a dope young artist from Philly named Nappy Flow.

He is a young focused emcee who is still in high school. We ran across his page on Instagram and thought we would share him with you guys. Check him out below.

Nappy flow is a young artist from Philadelphia. He changes his style in rap by having his ways of making turn up music but he also writes about political economic and about the world today and even more about himself.

Nappy started rapping at the age of 5, but started doing music when he was three beat boxing, Nappy flow continues to push the culture forward with his amazing style and his new wave, Nappy is influenced by rappers and singers such as vodka, Santos , king Benji, Khairi Tahir, don Louie and so much more. Nappy’s tape “Nappy By Nature” will be his first mixtape that he did in a actual studio , that will be coming out December 20.

How long have you been making music?

I have been making music for about 4 years on my phone and just being recorded on camera with my written 16’s I just hoped in the studio 2 years ago

Who are your influences?

Chance the rapper, vodka, Khairi tahir, king benji, Andrew meoray , and much more artist

How often do you write?

I write before I got to school and after

What are you working on?

I’m just finished working on Nappy by nature my mixtape featuring producers such as dougieonthebeat , maaly raw and much more

What inspires you?

Music definitely is some thing that has always inspired me as a child, I would die for music , growing up I didn’t have a lot of friends , but I had a CD player and I would listen to music all day , I’m so thankful I have music, that’s closest friend

What are you future goals?

To get this deal man , but foreal i wanna graduate high school, and if music don’t work I wanna be a music Engeneer, I mix and master all my stuff and I know a few things about how to work a studio. all I know is I can’t be on these streets got to get my ass up and get it honest

“The Valedictorian” is Don Badgett’s intellectual ode to Hip-Hop putting him in a class of his own. As a young kid his affinity for intelligent word play produced by Hip-Hop greats he has produced a distinct sound dedicated to bringing light to social issues, but most importantly, an album that reflects on the benefits of his listeners seeking advanced opportunities in education. 

And, due to his challenges in the classroom and the law he’s been an inspiration to thousands across the country. along his journey realized that if he wanted to change the masses through the music he would attain a bachelors degree.


While attending Benedict College he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and has propelled himself to not only earning the title as Hip-Hop’s valedictorian, but a business man He uses both his experiences as a kid who had challenges with the law and his advancement in the entertainment industry to inspire his dialogue with each of his listeners.

“The Valedictorian,” his first EP, stands out because of his passion for education in and out of the
classroom defying the myth that Hip-Hop heads can’t be both scholars in the street and behind a desk. With his recent release he’s gained a solid footing as an artist and is currently working on his first mixtape entitled,

“Freedom Is Not Free,” which will be an extension of his current work. He’s been featured in magazines such as Concieted and has performed in various concerts from NY to Denver to California.

Don Badgett will release his next mixtape “Freedom Is Not Free” early 2017 followed by his LP in late summer.

TraeDon “GrapeSoda” Henderson was born August 22, 1991 in Carrollton Georgia, Forty minutes west of Atlanta, Georgia. He is an American indie artist. At a young age he had an ear for music and was heavily influenced by westcoast artist such as 2pac, Dru Down, N.W.A, Mac Dre and many more.

He first started off writing poems and then he gravitated to writing rhymes around the age of 15. In the year of 2010 he recorded his first song “Swag High” in his friends room. Then after hearing his voice alongside a beat on a stereo he was hooked. He began to take music seriously, With the release of his first mixtape in the spring of 2015 titled “Life Is Grape” he developed his on sound.

He Said, ” I wasn’t really into making music at first, I just wanted to play basketball, then when I first heard Dom Kennedy and Kendrick Lamar before they blew up I was like yeah, they made it sound fun and real at the same time. My homie and cousins put me on to these dudes so I knew they had to be dope.”

He also collaborated with many artist, displaying his smooth flow with an breezy energetic graceful voice. With his recent release and second Mixtape in the books “Life Is Grape: Part 2”. He catches the essence of summertime vibes, kickbacks, and bbqs. LISG2 has garnared buzz amongst his peers and is still climbing with the medley for many more springs and summers to come.

Who is 3rDimension? 3rDimension is a young hip hop group, consisting of three brothers: Dash, Jelani, and Jawara. They were inspired by their older brother, Milan Hightower, to enter the Industry of Hip Hop. Their style of music is not like conventional rap but is a mixer of rap, rock, and pop. Since their beginnings at the early ages of 7, 6 and 4, they have
always performed music that was energetic, entertaining and had the ability to cross age and cultural barriers.

They were known as “The Rizn Sunz” and were featured on their older brother’s song “Rufus Lynx”. This was the titled song for the Charlotte Bobcats Mascot. They performed that song along with the Bobcats mascot at local events and special appearances many times throughout the Charlotte area. From the 2003-2009 they appeared at events throughout Charlottes such as: The Juneteenth Festival, Nascar Speed Street Festival, The Power 98 Back to School Jam, Talent Shows, Birthday Parties and School and Night Club Events.

In 2014, they changed their name to 3rDimension. The name change marked their transition into young adulthood. They saw themselves as leaders in their generation and felt that it was their responsibility to produce positive entertaining music with heavy beats that was more than just rap.

Their music is the music of this new generation of
young adults. Music that is produced and performed by a group that consisting of multiple layers: Rapping, Singing, and Dancing-Thus the name 3rDimension. beginnings at the early ages of 7, 6 and 4, they have
