As a kid I can remember always getting into MAD trouble, always getting suspended from school just being a regular degular bad ass kid. I can also remember that being a time that my mom had sat me down with a long time family friend who told me that “only you could be the king of your destiny” and it stuck with me ever since so it became an acronym I lived by KODA (King Of my Destiny & Ambition). Almighty came from the impact that I wanted my music to have on those that listened.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Boston, Ma (Mattapan specifically) but when things started getting crazier in the streets my mom moved us to a small town away from the city called Stoughton when I turned 14
Whats it like growing up where your from?
Its really just like every other city I GUESS, you have your trap stars, you have your shooters, the ones who want to make a difference and the ones just trying to make a way out. Moving away from it all gave me a chance to see the world threw a different light that there was a life beyond the hood. I was lucky enough to get a glace of it all and independently make the decision to follow my own path.
How did you get into music?
This music is really embedded in my DNA. As a kid I wrote passionately and daily until my mom put me into the church choir that was when I began to find my voice, over the years I experimented with my sound and became comfortable with myself as an artist.
What makes you different than other artists?
I KNOW I’m bringing a completely different style to my city, in a time when everything and everyone sounds the same I’m determined to bring back the feeling of actually being able to “feel” every word my listeners hear when they play my music EVERYTIME
What are you currently working on?
I JUST dropped my newest single “Can’t Wait” available on all major music platforms with a visual following it, I’m currently working on ALOT of visuals some dropping sooner than you think, I’m also working on my upcoming project “Million Dollar Dreams” dropping in January 2018
Anything you would like to say?
Shout out to EVERYONE over at Hip Hops Revival and be sure to look out for all of my new material available on ALL music platforms
After building a heavy buzz from appearances on BSR’s previous mixtapes “More Things To Do…” and “Live From District 3” Bean$tock’s youngest member Jay Boogie Bawse AKA J.Rose releases his highly anticipated EP Roses.
Today we bring you a new track from Chris Long and Art baby. It is a hyphy track built to emancipate the human race from the claws of material subjugation.
These two artists have a collaboration tape dropping July 5th. Stay tuned
Explain who you are for those who don’t know
I’m an 18 year old Hip-Hop artist and director out of Dallas, TX. I plan on using both my visual and musical talents to stand out from the crowd and not only break down stereotypes, but also break down barriers in connecting both industries. How did you come up with your name?
Nate Trillo is actually my real name, that’s sick isn’t it? I wasn’t about to ruin that opportunity by calling myself, “Lil Trill,” or something like that. Changing it to anything besides Nate Trillo would seem like a waste and wouldn’t have as much of an effect. People were telling me it sounded like a celebrity-name even before I started making music so I just had to stick with it.
Where are you from?
I was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in a small town just outside of Dallas called Midlothian. I’m really repping the DFW area and Midlo as a whole since both of the communities have treated me so well and showed a lot of support.
Whats it like growing up where your from?
There’s not a lot of Hip-Hop culture where I’m from giving that it’s a small rural Texas town, but the culture is definitely working it’s way in. Dallas/Fort Worth on the other hand has some major talent right now just waiting to hit it big time; Go Yayo, $hredd, Bobby Sessions…and I think the DFW area is about to takeoff soon enough, and I won’t be too far behind when it does.
How did you get into music?
Originally I was a full-time filmmaker and director, I’d post a few shorts every now and then and got pretty skilled at video editing, (which gives me a huge advantage with music videos.) Even though people liked it, I wasn’t reaching as big of an audience as I wanted to. Then one day, I was playing around with some new music software and created a remix to “Walked In” by Bankroll Fresh just for fun. I shared what I did “just for fun” to my social media and the response from people was absolutely overwhelming. Soon enough, they started asking for more music and the rest is history.
What makes you different than other artists?
Well to start off, I can admit that I definitely don’t LOOK like what people expect from someone making my kind of music, and the way I talk, act, and carry myself is very different than most Hip-Hop artists. I would say I’m very light-hearted, and I’m super big on positivity. At first glance, a lot of people would say I don’t “fit the image” of a Hip-Hop artist, but that’s exactly what I’m trying to prove. I embrace every thing that might be different about me and use it to define my image, all while breaking down any stereotypes in the process.
What are you currently working on?
Right now, I’m just about ready to release my debut project VACATION. I’ve made a few singles in the past in order to improve my quality and find my sound, but this is going to be like nothing I’ve ever released before. My own fan base won’t even expect to hear anything like what’s on Vacation, because there’s so much new content on there. What my fans CAN expect though are plenty new music videos AND even a short film for Vacation. All of this is coming just around the corner so people should be getting really excited pretty soon.
Anything you would like to say?
Just that anything is possible, really. I can’t stress enough how important positivity is to getting what you want out of life. Things come up and things happen but you just got to push through and treat what you’re trying to get like it’s already yours.
“When I was younger I would always make nicknames for myself because I hated my real name. The reason I hated my real name was because people would always get it wrong, or laugh when somebody tried to pronounce it including teachers. In the beginning I had five different nicknames for myself Kidflow, JFaro, Pablo, Sim Simma, and my managers name Kizer. Later on I decided my name fits me the best because of how rare it is.”
Where are you from?
“I am from Columbia, South Carolina.”
Whats it like growing up where your from?
“For me growing up in South Carolina wasn’t ever easy. I grew up around grimy people that would use me so they could reach another level while I was stuck trying to get where I wanted to be.”
How did you get into music?
“I got into music by listening to older artist like The Last Poets, Lauryn Hill, The Young Kanye, and my favorite OutKast. Hearing them make music help me understand that you don’t need a beat with a lot of base to make it. It’s about how you sound and the wordplay.”
What makes you different than other artists?
“What makes me different from other artist is that I fill like I’m not only making this for people to hear but I’m making this for the future me to hear the progress and how much I have evolved from now to how I will be in the future.”
What are you currently working on?
“I am currently working on my next song “How You Feel” I can’t go into detail about it, but it will be the 3rd song on the tape and it will be a single. “MiDSUMmeRniGHtDrEaMs *Intro” is just the warm up”
Anything you would like to say?
“”MiDSUMmeRniGHtDrEaMs *Intro” will have a sequel to it, it won’t be just a one time thing. I would also like to thank my brothers Micah, and Maliik. Amadeo, Brandon, Brian, Darius, Dachaun, Javon, and the 1st Tribe Crew.”

Where are you from?
I’m from Brooklyn, but now I live in Alpharetta.
Whats it like growing up where your from?
Living here so damn boring, there ain’t none to do, but it helps me keep focused in a way
How did you get into music?
I been into music for a minute, back in the day during my freshman year, I’d be recording music on my phone and tablet, I’d use the tablet for for the beat and my phone for the audio, then I started using rap chat, after that my boy David gave me Logic Pro X and I just started working more seriously on it.
What makes you different than other artists?
Just my style, I’m always switching it up, I can be making some hype junk, a sap song. I use my voice more and more. My styles just always evolving and changing.
What are you currently working on?
I just dropped my mixtape, now I’m working on expanding my brand and my name.
Anything you would like to say?
Y’all go fuck with “The Swell Chronicles” make that junk go crazy.
