Dash Flash Debuts “Blessed” LP Featuring Lil Wayne, RiFF RAFF & Rich The Kid

HipHopDX Premiere: Connecticut rapper Dash Flash is currently in the Air Force, but on the side continues pumping out music like his life depends on it. After dropping singles with artists like RiFF RAFF and Rich The Kid last year, Dash has finally dropped his debut album, Blessed. The 12-track project features Hip Hop heavyweights such as Lil Wayne, Rich The Kid, RiFF RAFF, Young Lito, Jitta On The Track, and more.

Throughout the record, he talks about his life experiences that led him to join the military and lets out all of his frustrations in his voice. Included on the album are his two biggest singles, “Click” and “Money Growing,” which both surpassed 100,000 plays. Dash attracted the attention of RiFF RAFF, who ended up doing a remix of “Money Growing” with Ponce De’Leioun.

Indy Spotlight: K2 Cocky

Hailing from Rockland County, New York, rapper K2 Cocky has been busy releasing new mixtapes every month since January this year. Yielding an edge-of-your-seat listening experience, K2’s mixtapes challenge all traditional conventions of Rap music with his unique blend of weirdo, horrorcore, and trap subgenres.

K2 Cocky is constantly recording material, aiming to release new music every month this year and take over the game.

How did you come up with your name?

Shit I was trapping with my big Cuso phew and he was shit yo name Lilcuhthashooter and I ran w it from there

Where are you from?

Suffolk VA raised Portsmouth VA so they both get my respect whether who fwm or not

Whats it like growing up where your from?

Growing up from where I’m from was cool just always had to be on yo ps & qs and watch who u associate with frfr and never be lacking but shit I got high 24/7 soo I just stay in my own lane

How did you get into music?

My big Cuso phew put me and browop in the stu and we just snapped and just being in the vibe of the studio VABP I just start recording and just the feedback I was getting from some people in my city and different states and country’s

What makes you different than other artists?

My flow juust some different and all I can be is me

What are you currently working on?

Right now I’m working on my first mixtape damn I can’t wait to get rich and it’s gone be a crazy tape coming from the 757 and it will be in Spinrilla , YouTube , Soundcloud , Spotify and I got some Videos dropping soon too on YouTube

– I took the J off my real name and the Chop off my nickname so I can have apart of my nickname and real name.

Where are you from?

– I am from McIntosh. County Ga .

How did you get into music?

– I first got into music listening to 2Pac . Then later finding it to be my favorite way of expressing my feelings .

What makes you different than other artists?

– Be so blunt makes me different from other artist if I feel it’s real and deep I’m gonna tell I about it in the music .

What are you currently working on? 

– Im currently working on my EP Turnt Off Pain
