RETRO – VIBE

Following the release of his single, “G Like,” Atlanta Rapper RETRO is generating a buzz at an impressive rate. He’s just released “Vibe,” one of many songs to hear from his Nine1 album, which was released earlier this month.

Retro, who credits his diverse taste in music to his mother’s upbringing, said, “Vibe was the hardest video to shoot cause I was sweating bullets in that Mase suit.” The video finds him grooving through the city streets and invading random locations with his dance moves, a theme that’s pleasantly reminiscent of an early 90’s hip-hop video.

@HiToneValenz – ‘The Voice’ (Documentary)

Hot fast-rising Los Angeles recording artist Hi-Tone continues to break Hip-Hop barriers. After releasing his latest video, “The Voice”, Hi-Tone takes critics and fans on a introspective journey in his new documentary also titled, “The Voice”.

The thought-provoking documentary shows the recording process of Hi-Tone’s forthcoming new album creatively-titled, ‘Price of Admission”. The 10-minute film gives people awareness of the uphill battle Hi-Tone has faced as a Mexican recording artist in the rap game.

Hi-Tone states:

“This is to show the world that my people and I are equally talented as everybody else in this music industry; they just have to start listening with their ears and not their eyes.”

Hi-Tone’s latest video has currently accumulated over 52k views on YouTube.

@YoungGiantz1 – “Western Expedition”

South Central MCs Young Giantz release the music video to their lead single “Western Expedition.” While the colorful visual bounces back to West Coast gangsta hip hop with custom lowriders, it also pays a respectful tribute to MC Special One of the Conscious Daughters and their 1994 hit “Something To Ride To (Fonky Expedition).”

“We’ve always been fans of “Fonky Expedition” by Conscious Daughters. Rest in peace to MC Special One. When Jelly Roll played us this beat, we knew exactly what it was and it instantly made you want to throw up WESTSIDE! So that’s exactly what we did lyrically. We named the song “Western Expedition” to tribute the classic!”

With West Coast G Funk as their foundation, the brothers crafted their 13-track EP 2000 Ninetiez with help from producer Dae One (Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg) and G-Funk veterans DJ Battlecat and Jelly Roll. This project also brings the brothers to Priority Records 25 years after their father, Playa Hamm released Paid the Cost with Eazy E’s Ruthless/Priority Records.

After garnering over half-million views off his previous video, “Hello”. Bay Area indie sensation Mike Darole continues to campaign his Summertime released debut EP of the same title with the release of a new video for the EP cut, “They”.

Shot by the talented Toroh Films, Mike journeys throughout Los Angeles with his crew, fully prepared for any dangers that come his way for the haters that continuously stalk himself throughout the video. A powerful piece of audio-turned-visual that will surely surpass his previous music video views easily.
