Since a kid but just really got serious last year wen i came home from jail

What motivates you?
Being a underdog. Thats the reason all my tracks go hard, because im so slept on. It just makes my soul bleed on the track even more.

What are you currently working on?
I have a mixtape in the works, but really just some more singles untill i drop a date

What is your opinion on the current hiphop scene?
Its either you catch a wave or you gotta have clout now a days

Flawless Tha Don is a new artist in Houston trying to make a name for himself. We got a chance to talk with him to see what he had going on in his life and career. Check it out below

Explain who you are for those who may not know
My name is Flawless Tha Don a lyrical talent outta Houston with a lot to prove.. not only coming from the slums of Wichita Kansas but making a way from nothing I’ve done countless shows in Houston, Austin TX, Atlanta, and Seattle however this year. I plan to expand my brand and grow my sound nationally with my latest single “Sober” streaming heavy on Spotify and YouTube

Where you from?
I represent the South West Side of Houston Texas a.k.a “Tha S.W.A.T” where we chunk 4 and twist 2 (Leaving a “West” symbol with your hand)

How did you get your start in music?
Me and my relative (Chiefy Productions) started recording music on a $10 karaoke microphone from walmart in the back of my grandparents house, shortly after he started making beats on fruity loops and I learned the art and history . been grinding ever since

How long have you been making it?
I started writing lyrics at 13 im currently 28

Who are your influences?
As a kid I grew up on 2pac bone thugs and a lot of different oldies my moms had me at 30 id like to think that helped me gain my musical ear and sound

What motivates you?
Besides the ability to make a hit record ANYTIME I touch a track. I think my motivation stems from the money aspect of music. Personally I’m never satisfied until I accomplish something and my goal is 100 million of the music so im kinda on “go mode” If you know what I mean?

What are you currently working on?
The plan is “HIT” record I’ve been doing my research and cutting off the wrong people trying get my stars to align ya know? and I think I’m finally in that “good space” that you hear about so often so I’m just releasing records until I find something that crossovers and sticks!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
My goal outta this is to eventually be a driving force for music a pillar that hip hop needs in order to stand weather im behind the scenes or in front of the camera or doing the planning for the next streaming service I plan on being a owner

What is your opinion on the current hiphop scene?
I would say its off life support!! ya know for a while I wasn’t sure if she was gonna make it… but she starting to pull through!

How did you get your start in music?
Was gifted my first acoustic guitar at 8 years old. Got in a local studio as soon as i could at 16 and i needed parental supervision so it didn’t work out too long.

How long have you been making it?
Craft working for 7+ years

What motivates you?
My grind is mainly motivated by my family, my baby girl, because i want to see them good forever

What are you currently working on?
Too Exquisite

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Everywhere

What is your opinion on the current hip hop scene?
It needs to come to a more solid and variated place, right now, the numbers do the talking because everyone sounds the same. its like you got to have colored hair or tattoos to be relivent.. Lets start making music that speaks.

KENDRICK LAMAR PURCHASES $2.65 MILLION HOME IN CALI

According to TMZ, K Dot has just bought a home in Calabasas, Calif., and as you might guess, it’s fitting for a rapper of his stature.



The six-bedroom, six-bathroom spans over 5,400 square feet and comes with a built-in pool, home gym and double-sided fireplaces. Kendrick isn’t planning on moving into the house just yet but he is considering it an “investment”
