SAUCEBoy Drops Off Two New Singles ‘Nose Job’ & ‘Time’
Toronto based artist/producer, SAUCEboy just dropped two new singles; ‘Nose Job’ and ‘Time’ which features Chillaz. The two songs are a great contrast of the artists abilities as both vocalist and composer. The record ‘Nose job ‘is an uptempo, strip club anthem; an ‘ode’ to all the under cover dancers making their money on the low. While ‘Time’ reveals a more vulnerable side of the artist expressing the time wasted on past relationships (accompanied by dope vocals from Toronto artist, Chillaz) bringing a real ‘driving home at 5 AM‘ feel. Check the songs out on SAUCEboy’s soundcloud below:

Get to know: Francis Write
Explain who you are for those who don’t know
Francis Write, a Rap and R&B artist.
How did you come up with your name?
Saint Francis Xavier, S.J., was a missionary, born in Javier, Kingdom of Navarre, and a co-founder of the Society of Jesus.
Where are you from?
East Riverside.
Whats it like growing up where your from?
It’s an everyday struggle being from the city I’m from, there a lot of disguises of palm trees and sun, and just the name itself seems like a paradise but it’s not always what people picture the city of Riverside to be. A lot of the same people I grew up with are locked up from gang banging but at the same time a lot of us are talented and there is a gold mine of talent waiting to blow up like any of these other cities running the hip hop game right now. I’m trying to bring my city together and be the first to put us on the map with this music because no else has succeeded.
How did you get into music?
Listening to my pops music and producing growing up in Oakland he listened to every type of music there was and it just was something that took ahold of me, and I wanted to be the next great musician hearing that stuff.
What makes you different than other artists?
My work ethic, my substance, and my execution. You can’t get behind a microphone in the booth and expect to be the best if you don’t got no confidence or truth behind what you’re talking about. Thats the difference between good and great, and I’m trying to be great.
What are you currently working on?
Currently, I have a project called ‘How You Make It’ I’m planning on dropping around the end of summer, no official release date yet, but singles are ready.

Get to know: J.Rose
How did you come up with your name?
My real name is Jalen and I was named after Jalen Rose the basketball player so people in the street started calling me J.Rose and J.Boogie. When I started rapping my uncle Mr $hoo$h added the Bawse at the end because he said he always wanted me to have that mind state to think like a boss.
Where are you from?
Boston, Massachusetts in the South End or Lower Roxbury
Whats it like growing up where your from?
It was typical inner city life with drugs, guns and gangs, a lot of good times, a lot of bad times but I managed to have fun with my family and stay out of trouble. it was like a tale of two cities sometimes very ugly but mostly very beautiful and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
How did you get into music?
My family has always been involved in music since I could remember. All of my uncles, cousins and even my aunts rap, sing or produce. I started out listening to Jay-Z and my favorite group was Bone Thugs N Harmony and I was raised on Cash Money. When it was my time my “Unkle Kuzzin” Keet Kolbang invited me to his basement to record my first song and here I am.
What makes you different than other artists?
Well I’m from Boston where we always see things totally differently than everyone else and we’re never afraid to speak our mind. I’ve been told that I have a distinctive voice so everyday I try to use it to express myself the best way that I can. Any music that I create always begins with a vibe or feeling and my goal is to transfer that feeling into whoever’s listening. Bottom line though is I’m just different, I’m a different breed and I do this for everyone else around me more than for myself so it means so much more to me.
What are you currently working on?
I just finished the follow up project to my Roses Ep which is called Roses II, I’m working on a collab project with another Boston artist Trueli and finishing up the next Bean$tock project.
