My name is Lenny A. Walker. I’m a “Hip House/EDM”
Recording Artist.
How did you come up with your name?
Lenny is my real name. Its a shorter version of my govt name
Leonardo. My mom is Cuban & she gave me my name. My pop, whose Jamaican, went along w/my mom’s name choice.
Where are you from?
I was born & raised in Brooklyn NY
Whats it like growing up where your from?
Growing up in Brooklyn was cool. Had lots of friends &
neighbors knew one another. Being an only child, i was given some adult responsibilities. Going 2 school & coming home by myself. Letting myself into my home, did my homework & made my own sandwiches. That was alot of fun!
How did you get into music?
Growing up i was surrounded by music. My parents had alot of house
parties & i was always in the middle dancing & singing my little ass off. I started going out 2 clubs & house parties as a teenager. I peeped how songs would affect folks & their emotions. Right then i said 2 myself. I want 2 make music that put folks in a good mood & make them forget all of their troubles. Even if its 4 a little while.
What makes you different than other artists?
I’m a performance artist. U come 2 see me perform expect a high energy show! Backup dancers, costume changes, & ME rapping/singing my heart out! Don’t expect 2 sit down at my shows! Im gonna give u your money’s worth & then some.
What are you currently working on?
Currently working on my EP titled: “HART STREET CHRONICLES” & my next single titled “Now Or Never”.
