Dash Flash & Rich The Kid Are Watching Their “Money Growing

HipHopDX Premiere: Connecticut rapper Dash Flash has emerged with another single, “Money Growing,” which features prominent Queens rapper Rich The Kid. With production provided by Ottawa, Canada’s BlasianBeats, “Money Growing” finds each MC littering the musical landscape with rapid-fire wordplay.

“Basically, the song is about how we came up flexin’ on the people that dissed us in the past,” Dash tells DX. “And now we young and successful. We’re both 24 years of age and just focused on getting this money, and killing all the hate with success.”

Dash Flash’s last single, “Go,” featuring Young Lito, was released August 30 and his debut album, Blessed, is on the way.

Celebs Support Lil Yachty at #RoadToIllWave Show

On Friday, September 9th, Fresh Empire and IllWave joined forces to kick off #RoadToIllWave, a concert party featuring Lil Yachty, DJ Lil Man, Thirsty4Pop, and Mir Fontane. The intimate 400 person concert party was put together to provide a tobacco/smoke-free concert experience for kids 21 and under. Fresh Empire “salutes those who represent Hip Hop, stay on their grind, and live tobacco-free.” A Lil Yachty show isn’t complete without celebrity friend appearances. Special guests that stopped through included Mike Zombie (OVO), Coach K (QC/Migos/Yachty), Siaani Love (daughter of Charli Baltimore), Maaly Raw, Erin Simon (Revolt TV), Savannah Britt, and DJ Lil Man.

The show also served as the preamble to the IllWave concert series, a new seasonal interactive music experience founded by Philly influencers Jae Brown and Shariff Small. The inaugural show kicks off September 28th at The Foundry and will feature performances from Famous Dex, Maaly Raw & Friends, and Nessly. Tickets are available for purchase here.
