Explain who you are for those who may not know
My name is Mi$tro. Born & raised in Virginia. I’m a musician because it’s way more to than rapping. I produce & also engineer. I deal with music all around.
What made you start rapping?
I was always popular in school. Homecoming king, class president, that type of stuff & it was all off popularity because my grades weren’t the best. I always liked rapping but I kept it private. I ended up telling one of the homies I wanted to put out a song & he said do it. Next thing you know, we was selling mixtapes & we been at it ever since.
What influences and motivates you?
My influences have to be Jay-Z, Jeezy & Wiz Khalifa. Their work ethic is serious. I know what it’s like to live in an area with no opportunities & hopelessness. It fucking sucks. So music showed me a way to make a better life for myself, just like the three people I just named. What keeps me going is the fans telling stories on how much my music means to them. I talk to every fan I can whether it’s on social media or in person.
What’s your relationship with King Lil G?
He’s probably taught me the most about this industry than anybody else. He’s a brother to me now. We on the road together now so it’s crazy to see how many fans he has. Every night, after my performance set, I watch his set & then we talk about the show afterwards. We talk about anything from politics to the Mexican culture.
How would you describe your sound?
That’s the hardest question in the world to me because I just get in the studio & vibe. I may spit bars with substance the first hour than make a club song the second. My music just goes with how I’m feeling.
What are you currently working on?
Now that we done with tour, it’s back to the studio. I’m working on a project now that will executive produced by my brother, Quinelle Holder. He’s known for being a powerful tastemaker in this industry. I called him to explain my plan & he was all for it. So we’re going to work on something special for sure.
Anything you would like to say to your fans?
Anything is possible in this world. You can go from zero to a million dollars with a dream & a plan. I love everybody who hits play on a song/video or buys a concert ticket. I ain’t shit with out y’all.

Today we bring you a new track from Willie Withers titled “The Golden Manifesto”
We want to know from you guys if this song is hot… or is it a flop?
You be the judge by commenting your thoughts in the comment section below.
“The Golden Manifesto was an accident. “In 2014, I was trying to better myself as a wordsmith. In time, I hoped to put together a project that would be lauded by both critics and fans alike. However, life stops for no one, and certain events that happened in 2014 convinced me that I had to somehow encapsulate that moment in time. If not for anyone else, but for myself.I was nearing a crossroads in my life, both in the small and big picture. All of that is where this song stems from. Thank you.”
