Explain who you are for those who don’t know
I’m Witt Black aka wittness. I’m a 21 year old college kid at the University of Alabama and I spit hot fire.
How did you come up with your name?
It actually took a while to come up with my rap name “wittness”. I tried out a bunch of different names involving my real name and this one was the least lame lmao. I also chose wittness because it rhymes with a lot of things so it’s easy to drop my rap name in a verse.
Where are you from?
I’m from a small town in north Alabama called Elkmont, aka BFE. Like you can’t even find this place with a GPS.
What’s it like growing up where you’re from?
I grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere. So pretty much I had to help my dad and paw paw do a bunch hard labor, like hauling hay and shit.
How did you get into music?
When I was little I listened to country music because my parents liked it, but I thought it was hot garbage. When I was in the 3rd grade I started listening to rap and I fell in love with it. Then I started writing songs when I was in the 5th grade.
What makes you different from other artists?
Well for one, I’m white af, but ironically my last name is Black. I frequently try to add humor to my songs because I’m a pretty funny dude and that’s who I am as a person. I try to rap about things that actually relate to my personality and my life instead of making stories up and trying to act hard. I have a different kind of voice than most other rappers so try to use that to my advantage. Like who tf wants to sound like everyone else? I also try to not swear so much in my raps because I realized that I had a much more expanded vocabulary than these other rappers so instead of cussing I could find better words to use. I also make my own beats and produce everything myself including mixing and mastering.
What are you currently working on?
Right now I’m working on a few things. I got another tape coming that I use other rappers beats like Minnesota by lil Yatchy. Pretty much like a No Ceilings type thing. I got another single coming called “New Balances” which the premise of the song is about New Balances shoes. I’ve been rocking them shits since the 7th grade. Later I want to do an old school type mixtape.

Baton Rouge, La native Michael Gibson, known as Mike Gutta, a young “Entrepreneur” who has had an ear for music since he was a young boy. Growing up in the Baton Rouge environment is hard on any young man trying to live right but Gutta’s passion for music kept him on the right path. At the age of 12 he was already perfecting the craft of producing hot beats and sick lyrics. Since then he has released 14 mixtapes and the album “Bentley Dreams.” Gutta can be heard on songs featuring well know rappers such as Kevin Gates and Lady G aka Gizzle from Bad Boy Entertainment. He’s the man behind the hit tracks “We in the Renaissance” and “Motorbike” by Da Ville Boyz. In 2013, Mike Gutta started his first product Ryan Premier1989 clothing line, which did well, but his heart yearned for the music. Shortly after in 2015 he opened Ryan Premier Studios 1989 and his love for music grew larger. Music is his passion and it shows in every beat, every lyric, and every

Melvin Thomas otherwise known as 3x, (also known as 3xclusives), twitter: @3xtadot (pronounced tae-dot) is a Music Producer and Audio Engineer.
How did you come up with your name?
My name originally was 3xclusives, we came up with the name at a house studio in Philadelphia around W Sylvania St. I would go there everyday after classes. I went to La Salle University at the time, they had a studio there but restricted me from using it because I wouldn’t share my music… 🤷🏽♂️. The artists at studio there would always say “call up Mel, he got that exclusive shit.” I walked in one day to about 6 different artists in the studio that day and I heard someone shout “you want some exclusives?” After I heard that we (DJ Statyc & Yola Mane) recorded that and it became my producer tag, you can hear it in some of my older records/beats. Recently, I just shortened it to 3x.
Where are you from?
I’m originally from the DMV, went to college in Philadelphia for a few years and now back in the DMV going to Howard University
Whats it like growing up where your from?
Honestly, I feel like the DMV is overlooked a lot in the music industry, a lot of young talented artists here. But with that being said it’s also pretty fuckin grimy here, one person always trying to get a “leg up” on another.
How did you get into music?
I first got into music production and dj-ing in high school, kinda kept it to myself tho until I got better, every producer goes through that phase. When I got to college, I started taking it more seriously, as soon as classes ended I would either use the studio at school or catch a cab to a house studio in W Sylvania St. Mexico by Malik Kalil was probably my first official record, which I ghostwritten (along with DJ Statyc), produced, and recorded. I made that and a few other records then transferred to Howard University on a scholarship to play soccer for the school, and also because I wanted an opportunity to branch out more.
What makes you different than other artists?
I’m just different, I make hits, you can hear it in my production for the most part, I try to start the wave more than ride it, I get tired of hearing the same old beats so I try to make my production stand out as much as possible.
What are you currently working on?
Honestly, right now I have a lot of shit that’s just hasn’t been released for the most part. I plan on releasing all, if not most, this summer. I have records made from like 2-3 years ago that are just tucked away so they have to be released soon. 💯
What are you working on?
There’s a lot of different projects that I’m working on besides that, too many to count. I have a record on king trip’s next album, and I’m working on an upcoming EP with Enzo, another artist out of the DMV.

“Faith”, performed by Joe Bah, is his third solo release of 2017 and possibly his strongest. The track is carried by the beautiful Faith Evans sample through out and Joe Bah’s strong, aggressive (yet laid back) vocals seem to be the perfect complement. Be on the look out for more releases from Joe as the year goes on.
