Talk to us about Fly Like Us, how would you describe it?
FlyLikeUs Is An American Record Label Emerging Out Of West Virginia.
We supply a wide range of products from Clothing, Shoes, Fashion Accessories to Rolling Papers, Grinders, And Smoking Accessories. We currently supply customers individually through our website FlyLikeUs.com as well as supply convenience stores & smoke shops.
What is the main goal of the label?
At This Moment We Are Spreading Our FlyLikeUs Rolling Papers to retail stores out of state while also pushing my upcoming single. I have an album coming soon that this single will be featured on.
Who all does it consist of?
I have a few artists I’ll be distributing under Flylikeus but we have to keep that a surprise
How did it start?
FlyLikeUs was founded in 2015 while managing a local West Virginia artist and participating in 2 nationwide tours with artist Mark Battles & Derek Luh. FlyLikeUs became the label backing the artists and released a few projects including one featuring Rich The Kid.
Are you signing artists?
At the moment only people close to me who are ready to put in the work it takes to make it happen.
Can you tell us more about the new single “Everythings Fine” – How did that song come to be?
Over the summer I was dealing with a lot of drama while breaking up with my ex who I had an 8 year relationship with and I ended up searching the internet for some instrumentals and came across this guitar instrumental and it seemed like the lyrics just came to me instantly.
How do you plan on pushing it?
Right now I have the song available for stream on my website along with the pre order / digital download
The song will be available on all platforms by Valentine’s Day
Are we going to see a video for it?
If so, when? And what ideas do you have for it?
I would like to get the song out and distributed first to gain as much exposure for it and potentially get it on the radio but we will see what happens in the upcoming months. I definitely have tons of ideas for the visual. I get new ones every time I hear the song again.
What’s next for FlyLikeUs?
Gaining more attention in the tri state area and expanding to the west coast
