Capella Grey Is Ready For Y’all To “Talk Nice” Come 2022

Uptown’s own, Capella Grey returns with the release of his official sophomore single, “Talk Nice”. Capella’s 2021 hit single, “Gyalis” was undeniably the summer anthem. Maintaining the hype, Capella doubled down with the official remix featuring Chris Brown and Popcaan.

After teasing the record for months, the Bronx-bred breakout artist brings more heat! In fact, he switches it up and takes a different approach and we are here for it. The new trendy track titled, “Talk Nice” brings the Uptown Vibes straight to your ears. “Talk Nice,” which is led by a Pelea Jibara sample, ticks off many of the same boxes as sizzling summer hit, “Gyalis”. The New York native effortlessly floats over the track enabling a smooth listen. While also making you want to get up and dance.

In addition to the fresh new drop off, Capella unveils the paired music video. In little over two-minutes, the Oliver Shore-directed visual serves as a vibe. Assuring we all vibe responsibly before stepping into the new year. Additionally, Capella backs the new release with a promotional campaign. Which sees listeners listing all of their reasons as to why others need to “Talk Nice” to them in 2022!

Aside from the sophomore single, Capella collaborated with Dream Doll on BRONX banger “You Know My Body”. Also, Capella hopped on another record with BX local, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie for their track “Bestie”. Which is part of the Culture Jam initiative, created by Kawhi Leonard.

After delivering “Gyalis”, Capella Grey is enjoying a victory lap — as should. In a short period of time, he’s collaborated with Russ, Chris Brown, DreamDoll, and a slew of other artists. DreamDoll Brings Uptown Out On “You Know My Body”

Bronx femcee, DreamDoll brings Uptown out for her hot new trendy track titled, “You Know My Body“. In fact, she enlists Bronx breakout artist Capella Grey for the feature! Bringing together an all New York team for the trendy track, DreamDoll brings fans’ dreams to life!

Both repping the Bronx, these budding rhymers have the city’s support and are definitely a vibe on the track! Dream and Capella collaborate on the Dizzy Banko and Omar Tha Great-produced single, bringing it to life! With all of them hailing from the Uptown Bronx, it’s clear to see why they all came together to create such a New York vibe. Overall, they flipped the ’03 Fabolous and Lil’ Mo “Can’t Let You Go” song. As a result, they brought that “Uptown” flavor to the record.

This is the first of many to follow, with Capella’s talent vocalizing on the chorus and Dream focusing on the verses. Dream delivers her jaw-dropping bars, proving she’s more than just a TV star with a face card and a slim waist. Capella Grey Recruits Chris Brown & Popcaan For The Remix

The remix that we have all been waiting for…

The song of the summer just came back with the remix!!! Buzzing Bronx rhymer Capella Grey has returned with the remix to his hit single “Gyalis”. Tapping Dancehall star Popcaan and R&B sensation Chris Brown. 

As a result, this musical trio makes for the perfect blend of R&B meets Dancehall. While Capella mixes both genres within his sound already, he has now enlisted two heavy hitters individually within Dancehall and R&B and combined their musical talents. 

The “Gyalis Remix” featuring CB and Popcaan comes as a nice surprise. Especially after his interview with renowned radio host, Angie Martinez where he mentions that plans on doing things differently with the track, much like its unique sound. He wants to release numerous remixes that merge music genres.

Since it’s initial release back in March 2021, the record has garnered huge success. Including unofficial remixes from fellow artists like A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, French Montana, Jada Kingdom and Kranium to name a few. Following its release, “Gyalis” took Tik Tok by storm resulting with a viral dance challenge. 

Additionally, it has landed several spots on the Billboard charts, including a new peak at No. 64 on the Hot 100 chart this week. As well as appearing on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts. In addition to chatting at  No. 1 on Apple’s R&B/Soul charts and taking No. 1 on Shazam’s U.S. Top 100.

On August 26th, the official music video for “Gyalis” was dropped. Its visual captured exactly how New Yorkers feel about the song they’ve dubbed the year’s summer smash. Since, the video has accumulated over 5 million views and counting on YouTube alone in just a month.

Capella Grey & the Gyalis Effect 

Now, Grey has unveiled the first official remix with everyone’s favorite ‘Unruly’ Dancehall star, Popcaan, alongside Chris Brown who is considered one of the most influential, though controversial, R&B singers. 

A week prior, the “One More Chance” artist tweeted, 

“Aint even do the math. Gyalis now. 94.6+ million streams. gold – now as a producer, writer, mix engineer, artist and young label exec, yo chill,” Grey wrote in a Tweet yesterday. “Thanks So Much Ya. We Just Getting Started! Official Remix Friday Vibe Responsibly.”

The breakout artist is just getting his feet wet in the music industry. With a new record label home in Capitol Records, a new music video for his breakthrough hit, the hot new Popcaan/Chris Brown remix, and others on the way.
