Killua Nights talks new EP release, His favorite track, Where he’s from, & more

Killua Nights is a new artist from the DMV with nothing to lose. It’s hard making something out of nothing but that’s exactly what Killua is doing. With his new EP “Can I Call Later,” he plans on making a huge impact on the industry. Gaining interest into music when he was 4, he has had years of experience along with hard work. We got a chance to take time to talk with him to learn more about the man behind the music. Check it out below and be sure to stream his new Ep on iTunes and Spotify.

Explain who you are for those who may not know
I’m Killua Nights, a Music Artist who doesn’t have shit to lose but has everything to prove.

Where are you from
I’m really from all over the DMV but if we being specific i’m a Virginian music artist, it’s way too much talent out there for me to not claim my city.

How long have you been into music?
I’ve been into music since I was like four, I’ve been recording shit since 5 years ago. Still got my first video out on youtube and everything.

What makes you different from other artists?
If speaking on characteristics I have as opposed to sonically, they don’t want it the same. Don’t get it wrong, its plenty of young hungry artists out, like my label-mates (TSON, Jhe, and Indigo Sandifer) but I feel like I don’t have any other way to express myself. I feel like everyone else has something to fall back on but for me if not this then I’m doing anything else.

Who are your influences?
Big L, Akira Toriyama, and Cormega.

What motivates you?
Rivalry and loss. Me and my brothers are all determined to be successful, we want to know who gets there first. I also have lost a lot of friends and family who wanted me to win in music and I will, for me and for them.

Talk to us about your project. Whats it called?
My EP “can I call later” is what I’ve been working on since I graduated in june of 2017. Its everything I wanted to talk about to certain people, or things I never got the chance to say. To dead friends, family, and girls that ive lost. Its an open confession of all the shit i’m guilty about.

How long did it take to work on?
I’d say a year.

Whats your favorite track?
Episode 2

Who produced on it?
On the project it’s only three producers. Madbliss, Jhe, and Dre

What does the project mean to you?
It’s an in loving memory project, my manager, who was my aunt, helped me put this whole project together before she passed this year.

What are your goals?
Long term, Be happy and and be the biggest music artist to ever do it. Short term, watch every anime and drink hella hennessey.

Anything else you would like to say
CLUEFAM is the team you really need to watching for. This is Killua Nights and your fucking with HIPHOP Revival.

I’m that 1 cool loser from all the high school movies The one fits in with the popular‘s but really fucks with the losers on the low

I’m from Long Beach, Cali

Me and my homies always loved music it was all we talked about so whenever we’ed  have a sesh we’ed start cyphering then the Homie’s told me I could really do it so I got serious about it

How long have you been making it?
I’ve been freestyleing for about seven years but my first song came out about a year ago

Who are your influences?
Tyler the creator ,MF Doom ,Snoop Dogg ,Michael Jackson ,and Kanye

What motivates you?
To make a better life for me and those around me also to share my life with those going through those hardships and emotions and letting them know you can do it too

What are you currently working on?
My first mixtape called the Kilo tape

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
On top of the billboards and the stock market

What is your opinion on the current hiphop scene?
I think it’s a gift and a curse that it’s easier to get in the game now because we as Artist can control more of our art but then you get the people just doing it just cause and that kind a dilutes the movement but to each it’s own

Anything else you would like to say?
I know we small time right now but this Shadow Klan movement gone be legendary watch once you truly fuck wit yourself no one can stop you

Billz talks No Face No Case, UK rap, Whats Next For Him, & More

We global! Sweden artist Billz is on his way globally. Why focus local when the world is at your access? We linked with Billz and talked about what he had going on, new music, and more. Check it out below and be sure to watch his new music video.

What have you been up to?
Been mostly working on this tape ”No Face No Case” which is dropping in spring, produced by no other than my producer ”Naasty”
How is life for you over sea’s?

Could you explain how the HipHop scene is over there?
It’s good, Can’t complain really even though there’s things to complain over, but its like any other place, you struggle and you hustle till you make something out of nothing. The HipHop scene down here in Sweden is actually popping, We got a lot of rappers down here dropping some real good music. You got rappers such as Kushtrim, Mwuana, Jireel, and many more, can’t forget the Dj’s who be pushing it for the culture as well. Its really crazy how big HipHop got down here if you compare it like 10 years ago.

What you got in the works?
I’ve just finished my tape ”No Face No Case” and I’m already working on my next tape ”No Phone No Trace” I also got plans on dropping more videos this year. It’s going to be a busy year, trying to push my name out there.

If you could work with anyone, who would it be?
There’s a lot of producers and rappers out there I would love to work with, but someone I’d really work with without any hesitation, that would be ”French Montana” it’s been something I’ve wanted to do since he was doing his thing with them ”Cocaine City DVDs”

What do you consider your sound?
I’d say my sound is a new wave of Trap Music. This type of sound is mostly heard in France, Germany, Netherlands but in there language. I’m bringing you that type of sound but in English with a foreign slang.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
It’s like every one else in this game, hopes of getting money and start living of the music you be making. But I really don’t know, I guess only god knows where I’m at in 5 years.

Anything else you would like to say?
”No Face No Case” dropping this spring, until that keep listning to ”Monifa” my latest single of the tape. If you think that track hot, wait till you hear the whole tape. Big ups to my hood ”Brandbergen” and the ones supporting me, because at the end of the day, I ain’t nothing without them.

This is a very hard question for me to answer but I know in 5 years I am going to be wherever God wants me to be but definitely in a better position than I am currently at the moment. I know I would be the voice for the voiceless going through what I am going through being an immigrant and trying to get there life together.

What is your opinion on the current hiphop scene?
Its very different but you got to respect everyone’s art even if you can’t understand it.
