Do.Main Highlights Two Singles From His New Album, ‘WARRIOR IN HELL”

Do.Main highlights two new singles; “Freddy” and “Comfy in Hell” both from his album WARRIOR IN HELL. “Freddy” originally being a Baby Keem x Kendrick Lamar type beat, after recording on it and showing it off to his friends it was clear that this was a hit. After his friends kept pushing him to do more on the track Do.Main eventually switched out his number three on the tracklist which was “Friends to Enemies” with “Freddy”. “Friends to Enemies” was then released as a double sided single.

The melodies on “Comfy in Hell” alone are a cause for praise. The track dives deep into the feeling of being trapped in some sort of hell and ends up being its thematic upbringing. The three verses following that track came through with a breeze. Money problems, the state of the world, and even systematic oppression are big themes on this track. “Comfy in Hell” is a track like none before. Stay tuned for more to come from this rising upcoming artist. Stream WARRIOR IN HELL on all your favorite digital streaming platforms.

Recording Artist WILCON Releases New Album “YOUTUBE JESUS”

The self proclaimed YouTube Jesus himself WILCON, after debuting with his mixtape YOUTUBE JESUS has a grip on the internet with more to come. From Tuckahoe, New York ten miles out of the city as said in his opening track “Drum Beater / 3 Homes” is now based in LA after leaving home and even spending time in the Midwest out in Michigan for some time.

The project contains a plethora of beats from various producers serving as a tribute to WILCON’s earlier years. “I no longer need to resort to the internet to find beats. For my first four or so years of rapping, YouTube was the only way I was able to get instrumentals.” After finding his sound rapping over various types of beats WILCON has settled into his niche and has even found producers he has seen evolve as time went on such as, from Pilotkid to Stoic Beats and even the likes of Bailey Daniel and Swedish Prodigy. He mentions Lethal Needle and Louis as another set of producers he frequents for freestyling.

Talking about his next moves he mentions juggling quite a lot for his career, from being a college student, to doubling down on part-timers over the summer and rapping whenever he finds time in the booth. Sometimes it’s even all three at once.

Expect more from WILCON in the coming future and check out YOUTUBE JESUS available in the links down below.

Indy Spotlight: OHWOWGO JORDY

We always seem to connect with the most talented artists right before they blow!!!!! We believe OHWOWGO Jordy is next!!!! So it was only right that we chopped it up and got to know more about the man behind the music! Read our full Q&A with him below and be sure to check out his music!!!

Explain who you are for those who may not know?

I’m OHWOWGO Jordy, I record music and make beats. When I’m up I look down and when I’m down I look up. I’m usually sad so mental health is very important to me. I make the active choice to be the example of what I want to see in the world despite what I feel. If you don’t know me , that’s how I would describe myself. An example.

Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa but when I got away from there I began referring to it as The Middle. I currently am based out of Los Angeles.

What was it like growing up there?

I always felt like the middle is where most people get stuck for lack of better terms. That’s a major analogy for me. I made it out the MIDDLE means I made it through the toughest circumstances. I grew up with all girls so most of my inspiration comes from strong females. I only felt love from my mom and the women in my life. Even though my parents split up, my dad was beating me up, my friends were killing themselves and I was losing my faith. I always been a sad kid so I taught myself early how to make friends with pain and smile through the rain. That’s what made it a no brainer to leave and move to LA.

How long have you been doing music?

I spent one year at university and spent all my tuition money on recording equipment. I would write a lot of poems and space off writing songs in my lectures. I spent time just swinging the bat. Showing up to the gym type intentions with the music. For the last 2 years I’ve been taking it really serious with recording daily and teaching myself everything from engineering to making beats.

What made you get started?

My Music is totally for self. Words save my life on the daily. I guess you would say it is my love language and how I show myself the most love. I think a lot so it would turn into song after song after song. It really just started as a way to express my pain and some friends encouraged me to keep going. I’m blessed to be able to sing my pain away or play my pain away. Not everyone can do that so I don’t take it for granted.

Who are your influences?

My biggest influence is Tupac. That’s like Jesus himself to me. I would always view music like Gods. Bob Marley was literally God , Lauryn Hill was like Virgin Mary and Tupac is like Jesus to me. Musiq Souldchild taught me how to sing though.

What motivates you to get up and grind daily?

Any one else that’s out there going to bed sad at night and waking up sad the next morning , looking for a way to make it through the day.. that’s who I do it for. I know if I would’ve been able to have that example of someone that really struggles with depression, anxiety  and has a story of tragedy turned triumph that it could have made the biggest difference for me. It would have sped up my process or at bare minimum gave me hope when I needed it most. Showing that it’s possible to feel XYZ but still choose to be the best you is what makes me go when I want to stop.

What does your studio process look like?

It’s just me usually. No engineer. No distractions. Blue lights , something visually stimulating like anime (right now I’m watching Jojos adventure but demon slayer is my favorite) or a classic movie like next Friday. Good weed and good beats. I don’t even want to hear a beat until a mic is in front of me. Then I feel free and flow.

What do you have in the works for 2022?

Right now I want to drop everything with a visual attached so you can expect a lot more music videos from me and vlogs. I record every day so at minimum I’m dropping something new every month until I can’t anymore. West Coast tour in the works and I’ve been working on some 1 of 1 lifestyle pieces for my fans to have. I just want people to get to know me better , what I like and why and where I’m going.

Anything else you’d like to say?

Thank you hip hops revival for the interview and all my fans for making this possible. I’m always going to view myself as a kid from the middle. To where I’ve made it is beyond my wildest dreams. The love y’all show me is my oxygen. Knowing it’s bigger than me and I really am an example fills me with gratitude. I will forever be able and willing to show what is possible if you believe, are persistent and patient and put God first. If you rock with me , it’s 4L and we family 🤞🏽💙
